BES take delivery of new eco van

BES take delivery of our new low emission VW Crafter van. Volkswagen's BlueMotion Technologies and the Crafter's low emissions and fuel efficiency were important factors when choosing the new van. A host of mechanical enhancements to reduce fuel consumption and emissions beyond the latest Euro5 standards were introd...uced with the latest 2010 model Volkswagen Crafter. As a result, the Crafter achieved certification as an EEV (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicle) - the most exacting European exhaust standard for commercial vehicles. Emissions of particulates, hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide from the Crafter's BlueTDI engine are almost half way to meeting the next Euro6 standard. Volkswagen has achieved this by using a SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) device and AdBlue® system, which is known to be one of the most effective methods of exhaust purification in the commercial vehicle industry - as well as improving the efficiency of the engine. This helps BES to continue to reduce our carbon footprint whenever possible, with emissions up to 15% lower than our previous van.

Future Boogie 10th Birthday Party

BES kicked of 2012 in style providing the Lighting and power for Future Boogie's 10th Birthday Party at the visually spectacular location of the old magistrates court house in Bristol City Centre.

We have been working with the Future Boogie crew for some time so we were honoured to be asked to provide the production for this event. BES supplied an assortment of lighting for not only the main room but also for the bar room. We also supplied generators and power distribution for the venue.

The night was hosted by renowned DJ's such as Julio Basmore, Waifs & Strays and Future Boogie DJ's.

The night was a sell-out success and we look forward to working with these guys again in the future.
